La ceremonia, presidida por el cardenal Giovanni Battista Re, cont\u00f3 con la presencia de l\u00edderes mundiales, miembros de la realeza y representantes de comunidades marginadas, incluyendo refugiados, personas trans y sin hogar, en consonancia con el deseo del pont\u00edfice de una Iglesia abierta a todos .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"El Papa Francisco sobre la homosexualidad, abusos y las mujeres sacerdotisas | Parte 3\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-m1n47Iw4fc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">El Papa fue sepultado en la Bas\u00edlica de Santa Mar\u00eda la Mayor, cumpliendo su voluntad de tener un entierro sencillo fuera del Vaticano. Su tumba, ubicada entre las capillas Paulina y Sforza, estar\u00e1 abierta al p\u00fablico desde este domingo .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Durante sus 12 a\u00f1os de pontificado, Francisco promovi\u00f3 una actitud de acogida hacia la comunidad LGBTI+. En 2013, sorprendi\u00f3 al mundo con la frase: \u201c\u00bfQui\u00e9n soy yo para juzgar?\u201d refiri\u00e9ndose a las personas homosexuales. Posteriormente, en el documental \u2018Francesco\u2019 (2020), expres\u00f3 su apoyo a las uniones civiles entre personas del mismo sexo, afirmando que \u201clos homosexuales tienen derecho a estar en una familia\u201d .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Adem\u00e1s, permiti\u00f3 el bautismo de personas trans y sostuvo encuentros con miembros de la comunidad LGBTI+, como el caso de Diego Neria Lej\u00e1rraga, el primer hombre trans recibido por un Papa .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Sin embargo, su papado tambi\u00e9n enfrent\u00f3 cr\u00edticas por no implementar cambios doctrinales significativos en relaci\u00f3n con los derechos LGBTI+, manteniendo la negativa al matrimonio igualitario y dejando la aplicaci\u00f3n de reformas a discreci\u00f3n de cada di\u00f3cesis .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">A pesar de ello, su legado es reconocido por abrir un di\u00e1logo inclusivo y mostrar empat\u00eda hacia las personas LGBTI+, dejando una huella significativa en la historia de la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\"><strong>Diego Neria Lej\u00e1rraga: El hombre que encontr\u00f3 acogida en el Papa Francisco<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">En un momento hist\u00f3rico para la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica, Diego Neria Lej\u00e1rraga, un hombre transexual originario de Plasencia, Espa\u00f1a, fue recibido en audiencia privada por el Papa Francisco en enero de 2015. Este encuentro marc\u00f3 un hito al ser la primera vez que un pont\u00edfice recib\u00eda a una persona transexual en el Vaticano. Durante los 90 minutos que compartieron, Francisco mostr\u00f3 una actitud de cercan\u00eda y comprensi\u00f3n, lo que llev\u00f3 a Neria a describir la experiencia como \u201cestar en el cielo por un rato\u201d.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Este gesto del Papa Francisco fue interpretado como un signo de apertura y acogida hacia las personas LGTBI dentro de la Iglesia. En declaraciones posteriores, el pont\u00edfice afirm\u00f3: \u201cComo Papa, acojo a los homosexuales y transexuales. Es lo que har\u00eda Jes\u00fas\u201d.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Inspirado por su experiencia, Diego Neria public\u00f3 en 2016 el libro&nbsp;El despiste de Dios. Cuadernos de viaje de un hombre que naci\u00f3 mujer, donde narra su vida y el impacto de su encuentro con el Papa. En sus palabras, el libro busca ofrecer esperanza y normalizar la vida de quienes han sido marginados por su identidad.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich
